Situated in beautiful countryside only 6 mils form the Tamar Bridge, Trefenten Barn is a short drive from the moors, the coast, several national trust properties, and all the attractions of Plymouth . St Mellion golf and country club is 2 miles. There is local course fishing, horse riding and swimming pools. Good local restaurants and pub food. The Eden Project is an easy drive away.Refurbished 1999 to a high standard, the barn is split horizontally into 2 homes, Upalong and Downalong. Each has its own front door and parking space on opposite sides of the barn, which is within the grounds of Trefenten, a total of 4 acres. The visitor’s garden won a Caradon in Bloom award 2002. A cream tea is provided on arrival, and there are many extra items provided that are not usually found in self-catering accommodation. Each holiday home consists of an open plan living room and kitchen area, romantically decorated separate bedroom and attractive shower room. All linen is provided, extra large towels, patterned bed linen etc. Pine cottage style furniture. The well-organized kitchens have electric double ovens and grill, ceramic hobs, extractor fan hoods, built in refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave oven, electric kettle and toaster. There is a laundry room. There is a bluebell wood and stream, and many species of birds and wildlife.
