Drannack Vean Cottage is situated just outside the town of Hayle in unspoilt countryside and in a peaceful valley setting. There are approximately two acres of recently sown grass with a pond, wildflowers and many trees planted in the last two or three years, which are now maturing. This area now makes a lovely leisure area to sit out in, have a barbecue etc. We also have a seven acre meadow adjoining the property, which is also in grass with several hundred recently planted seedling trees and is ideal for walking or to exercise dogs. There are many Public Footpaths nearby and a Pub within easy walking distance. The cottage is a conversion of an old 19th century granite barn and has been converted to a high standard by the present owners. The cottage sleeps up to six adults in comfort in two double bedded (one of which has ensuite shower/toilet/handbasin) and one twin-bedded room. There is another bathroom with all facilities. A cot is available if needed. Oil fired central heating is installed in every room and hot water is provided by a combi boiler. Included in our rates are all electricity, oil central heating, bed linen and towels (not beach towels) – note there are no meters or any other extras.
