This deluxe property was built in 2002 and has the benefit of some of the best views of the local countryside from all south facing windows. Nenagh is surrounded by 2 acres of private grounds with secure parking. The property is accessed via a shared private drive on the southern side of Crantock village. All amenities are in close walking distance and the property is just a few minutes stroll from the popular Crantock beach and a healthy walking distance from the secluded Polly Joke Beach. For those with a keen appetite for walking other beaches, such as Holywell and Newquay Fistral Beach (and beyond), are in easy reach.

Nenagh is offered with full access to the West wing. This part of the home comprises of three large bedrooms all with en-suite facilities. The master bedroom consists of a double bed, picture window with south facing country views, two seater settee, fitted wardrobes, full bathroom en-suite with separate large size power shower, air-bath and two basins in fitted units. The second bedroom consists of twin beds, a large window with south facing country views, two seater settee, dressing room, full fitted bathroom en-suite with separate large size power shower. The third bedroom offers views of the large garden and koi pond and consists of twin beds, free standing wardrobe, and shower en-suite.

The ground floor includes a large kitchen/diner with gas hob, two ovens and microwave, American style Maytag fridge/freezer with cold water and ice-maker, dishwasher and washing machine. The light-oak style units are topped with blue pearl granite with large centre isle and breakfast bar with stools. The dining area with octagonal marble table is sited beside a large south facing picture window.

The large lounge has a coal effect gas fire, T.V. and DVD, with a south facing patio door and picture window. The ground floor also has a large hall leading to a beautiful white oak stair and galleried landing, a play-room with pool table, and WC.

There is also a room which has a Pool table and a seating area.

The home is heated by an oil fired boiler and would make an ideal base for both summer or winter breaks. How about watching a winter storm crash waves over the Cornish coastline whilst enjoying a tasty lunch and beverage in a warm and welcoming public house?

The picturesque village of Crantock is just 4 miles by road from the busy resort of Newquay, with its contrasting range of leisure activities and evening entertainment. However, Crantock maintains a peaceful charm and offers local amenities to suit all tastes. These include the Cosy Nook Tea Gardens, two public houses in the immediate village and the ever popular Bowgie Inn less than a mile away at West Pentire, the beautiful historic church of St. Carantoc, and the shop with Post Office facilities. There is also a regular bus service to Newquay and further afield to the likes of the City of Truro and beyond.

Like many areas along the north coast of Cornwall, Crantock boasts a large beach allowing water sport opportunities for everyone. Lifeguard cover is maintained from Whitsun through to the end of September. Many children, and even some of the ‘older’ children in the family, enjoy the fun and frolicks offered by the tidal River Gannel that meanders through to the beach area and separates Crantock from Newquay. The river can be easily crossed by foot-bridge or ferry depending upon the height of the tide. The beach and coast-line can be reached by a variety of routes, by foot or vehicle, and only takes minutes from the property. There is a large car park at either end of the beach.
Crantock, being situated in the countryside and on the coastline, with much of the area owned by the National Trust, provides everyone wishing to stay in delux accommodation, the opportunity to enjoy the local fresh out-door surroundings. However, the main A30 trunk road running through the spine of the county is only a few minutes drive away and provides an effective gateway to enjoy the many other attractions our beautiful county of Cornwall has to offer.
