Recently the woodland has revealed the ruins of an ancient mill discovered close to the enchanting Downas stream. SITUATION We are 1½ miles from Coverack and only a 20 minute rugged walk to the beautiful Downas Cove where seals and basking sharks have been spotted. The south west coast path is close by incorporating the breathtaking vantage point of Black Head and far reaching views towards England most southerly point. So why not relax, unwind and soak up the wonderful atmosphere of this magical place. THINGS TO DO There are many things to do in the area within a short drive. Beaches at Coverack, Downas Cove, Kennack Sands, Porthallow and Godreavy Cove. Attractions at Flambards Theme Park, Roskily Dairy Farm, Gweek Seal Sanctuary, Goonhily Satellite Observatory visitors centre, Lizard Point. Tropical Gardens at Glendurgan and Trebah and the picturesque Helford River Land's End and the Minnack Open Air Theatre are both about 30 miles. ACCOMMODATION The property comprises of an exposed beam lounge / dining room with granite inglenook and log burner, a spiral staircase and sea views from some aspects. It is well equipped with colour TV, video, stereo, radio, electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge and freezer. NON SMOKERS only.
