Eastmere is self-contained, with 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds (one double room with 5ft bed and one twin with 3 ft beds). It is a timber bungalow with its own front door. There is off road parking for two cars. Situated in a quiet area in a country lane that runs between Eastergate and Walberton villages, it is near the Downs, located between Arundel and Chichester, 6 miles north of Bognor and 22 miles from Brighton to the east and Portsmouth to the west.Eastmere is well decorated, furnished and fully equipped, The living room has a settee, easy chairs, dining table and chairs, cool air fan, colour TV and video recorder. In the kitchen there is a wide range of utensils, new cupboards and work surfaces, stainless steel sink, refrigerator, separate 2 cu.ft. freezer, microwave, Creda electric cooker, automatic washing machine and access to spin dryer, tumble dryer and outdoor drying line. There is a WC with hand basin and a new bath with shower enclosure. The hot water cylinder cupboard contains a vacuum cleaner, iron and board.There are three thermostatically controlled heaters, if needed. Electricity is included in the price quoted. We are sorry but we cannot accept pets and stipulate ''No Smoking'' in the bungalow. Bed linen, pillows, duvets and towels are provided.Children and babies are welcome. There is a west-facing gravelled garden area with comfortable garden seating, table and sunshade. A wide gate secures this area - making it safe for young children. We can supply a cot with mattress and a high chair.Neighbours to the East are the proprietors Jean and Bernard. To the west are 16 racehorses in Peter Hedger''s well tended stables. Staff there may be seen working and riding.The accommodation is suitable for handicapped or elderly people who can manage a 3in (8cm) step - ramps can be provided.
