This is 'The Flats on the Strand' your Home from Home. The flats have a 4 Star rating with the English Tourist Board, and have uninterrupted sea views. We have vacancies for August and September when the weather is traditionally sunny. The flats are in the Walmer conservation area, opposite the promenade that runs between Deal Castle and Walmer Castle. The flats are available 52 weeks of the year. Together the flats accommodate a party of up to 12 people in 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 en-suite. Ideal for that Christmas/New Year or anniversary get together.If the same week is available for both flats and your party numbers more than 7, then just book both flats. We charge per week and not per person which makes us great value for larger parties. If you have any special requirements such as non-allergenic bedding, late arrival, pets or cot/highchair for your baby or toddler, we will be glad to help all we can. We can even get in some groceries for your arrival.The building at 51 The Strand was originally the Walmer branch of National and Provincial Bank serving the Thompsons Brewery in Walmer. Constructed in 1910, the building enjoys uninterrupted views of the English Channel, one of the busiest areas for shipping. We even provide binoculars for your better enjoyment.The Strand is on the old turnpike road between Deal and Walmer, it separates the building from The Green where the free open air concerts take place on the bandstand. The promenade and cycle path run alongside the shingle beach, where the fishing boats wait.Within a short stroll are the newspaper shop, fish and chips, Chinese takeaway and Indian restaurant plus a bakery, cafe and several pubs all serving food. Just a short drive away are numerous restaurants and the ferries or Eurotunnel to France.For the under 10's, the paddling pool is free.
