Local attractions include Penshurst Place, the National Trust village of Chiddingstone, Hever Castle, Chartwell (home of Sir Winston Churchill) and Knole Park, all within 20 minutes drive, while further afield lie Sissinghurst, Leeds Castle, Bodiam, Squerryes Court and Ightham Mote (all less than an hour away). There are numerous pubs serving excellent food (as well as drink!) within easy reach, the nearest being a mere 5 minute amble down the drive...........!
