Our cottages have been created within two old farm buildings to provide good quality, fully equipped, self contained accommodation. 

North Barn consists of two large, three bedroom cottages with the lounge situated on the first floor giving panoramic views across farmland and the sea. The  cottages each have a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine & tumble drier, a bathroom with bath, hand basin, WC and  shower cubicle, 3 bedrooms (one with en-suite shower & hand basin), and  a spacious lounge ( 8 m  x 3.4 m) with colour TV.     These cottages will sleep 6 to 7 persons + cot and the sleeping arrangements are as follows:-  Number 4 North Barn. 2 twin bedrooms and 1 double bedroom. Number 5 North Barn. 1 twin bedroom and 2 double bedrooms. (An extra folding  bed is available if required )

In South Barn there are three cottages.  Each cottage has a lounge with colour TV, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with hand basin, WC, bath & shower cubicle and two bedrooms.  Bedroom 1 (Double) is situated on a gallery above the lounge & bedroom 2 (Twin) is situated through a door off of the gallery. Each cottage sleeps 4  persons (+ extra child's bed + cot).   South Barn is situated overlooking lawns, ponds and open fields. There is a separate laundry room with washing machine and tumble drier available for guests staying in South Barn.

Connetts Farm is a 115 acre (47 Hectare) working farm, and is situated in a coastal position giving cliff top views over the Thames Estuary. There are horses on the farm and hay & cereal crops are grown. Some areas of the farm are being used for wildlife conservation. For visits to London (50 miles), Canterbury (30 miles), Rochester (20 Miles) & Maidstone (20 miles), there are good new road links to the motorway system with a brand new fixed bridge linking us to the mainland. There is also a mainline railway from Sittingbourne (10 miles) to the centre of London with a link train from Sheerness to Sittingbourne.                     

The nearest town is Sheerness (6 miles) where there is a selection of  shops & good supermarkets, an indoor swimming pool and sports complex. There is a beach at Sheerness, & a Naturist beach at Shellness (5 miles).

For bird watching, you may wish to visit the R.S.P.B. reserve at nearby Elmley where many species of birds may be seen, both common and rare. Among those found on the reserve are  populations of Harriers, Golden Plover, Short-Eared Owls, Avocet, Egret, Heron and at dawn and dusk spectacular amounts of flighting wildfowl.
