Sonnet Cottage is situated in the glorious Kentish countryside, excellent for quiet 'getaways', 4 miles from the delightful coastal town of Sandwich with its many restaurants, pubs, quaint shops, cinema and famous golf course. The historic cathedral City of Canterbury is a 20 minute drive away with Dover only 12 miles away. This is wonderful walking country, with character pubs, local riding and golf. This delightful cottage is in a quiet rural setting and was once two farmworkers' cottages and is now one spacious comfortable holiday home is of a very high standard. Car Parking is available for a maximum of 3 cars. There is a spacious, modern kitchen that is very well equipped with all electrical appliances and a large oak table at one end. The dining room is decorated in stripped pine, has French doors to the rear garden, and also leads to a pretty single bedroom. The attractive, spacious lounge - decorated in a cottage style -has an open working fireplace, colour TV, video and music system. There is a downstairs bedroom with fitted cupboard and also a compact en-suite shower room with WC. A second staircase leads to two twin bedrooms and a double bedroom, all with fitted cupboards, drawers and side tables. One twin and the double room interconnect. Over the landing of the first staircase is the large family bathroom with bath hand and fixed shower over, WC and washbasin. A hairdrier is available. Storage and electric heaters throughout. Games and books available. To the rear is a large fenced garden with many shrubs and a border onto bluebell woods. There is also a garden terrace with teak table and chairs, brick built-in barbecue and garden furniture. Please take note that this property is of a very high standard. However an ETC 2 Star grading has been given due to the downstairs 4' bed being located next to the wall, which is unavoidable.
