It is ideally situated for exploring the forest, on foot, by bike or by car, being only 4 miles from Lyndhurst, the "capital" of the new Forest. The waterfront city of Southampton, where there is a main line station, theatre and new shopping complex, is 6 miles away.

The self-contained holiday annexe has off road parking. Private entrance is via a garden path and patio, which opens into a spacious bedroom with King size bed. There is also a large open plan living/dining room with an archway to a well equipped kitchen. A small hallway leads to a totally refurbished (2006) bathroom with shower / bath, toilet and hand basin.

How to find us

South from J.2 on the M27, travel for about 2 miles along the Totton ring road. Turn right at the 2nd roundabout towards Netley Marsh and left into Woodlands Road. You will find us about 1 mile along the road situated on the right hand side of the second Z bend. If you pass Busketts Lawn Hotel on the left then you have just missed us!

From Lyndhurst on the A35, turn left into Woodlands Road, signposted Woodlands. Travel about 1 mile to a T junction and turn right. You will find us on the left hand side of the Z bend about 200yds from the cattle grid, just after passing Busketts Lawn Hotel on the right.

East from J.1 on the M27, turn right into Bourne Road at Bartley Café, signposted Woodlands and follow the road for about 1 mile. After crossing the 2nd cattle grid you will find us on the left hand side of the Z bend, just after passing Busketts Lawn Hotel on the right.
