The name of Sunset Place is taken from the magnificent sunset that can be seen from here and the views across to the River Avon and the valley below. Situated in grounds of 5 acres nestled in a hillside in the pretty village of Woodgreen in The New Forest, a place for peace and tranquillity. Adjacent to Cottage Crest Bed & Breakfast. which is the home of owners Bill and Lupita Cadnam. The cottage is on 2 floors with 2 entrances, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor, which is the main entrance to the cottage when arriving. On entering you are In a beautiful, comfortable lounge, come bedroom with views across the grounds and valley beyond. This lovely room has a comfortable 2-seater settee, a standard size bed with en suite shower room, colour television, tea and coffee making facilities and with the owners own special touches make this lovely comfortable room. Also from here you have access to the grounds, a patio complete with chairs. If you sit quietly you might spot some of the wildlife seen in the grounds from the family of badgers to the occasional deer drinking from the 2 ponds. Just off the centre of the room, railings protect a spiral staircase, which take you to the room where there is also a door to the outside garden and parking area, downstairs is an open plan kitchen and dining area, with table and seating for 4. The kitchen comes equipped with full size electric oven with grill, microwave washing machine and central heating. Cutlery, kitchen towels, towels, bed linen are also provided. Woodgreen is close to the River Avon; good for walking and the village has a public house, which serves meals. There is a convenience store and a post office within easy driving distance.
