Yorke Cottage is a typical quaint Victorian cottage tucked away in a quiet lane at the edge of Lyndhurst, which is in the heart of the New Forest. The open forest is just 200m away and the village centre, with pub, restaurant and a small supermarket is 5 minutes walk. Yorke Cottage is located in an unmade lane with a field at the end. The cottage is well equipped for self-catering with fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and automatic washing machine/tumbledrier. The cottage is tastefully decorated throughout. The ground floor comprises a fitted kitchen, dining room and a living room with coal-effect fire. There is central heating should it be required. On the first floor are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and the second bedroom has twin single beds. Duvets are provided on all beds. The bathroom is spacious and has WC, wash-hand basin and bath with shower over. Outside there is a private parking space and a small garden to the rear with patio area and table and chairs. There is a shed where bicycles can be stored, and a barbecue for guests to enjoy. Linen, hand and bath towels are included and if you are staying for two weeks they are changed on Saturday. Yorke Cottage is perfectly situated to enjoy a wide range of activities that this unique area has to offer. It is ideal for couples and families. There is a no-smoking policy at Yorke Cottage and we regret that pets are not permitted. Children over 5 welcome. Open all year. Prices range from £195 - £550 per week.
