Badgers Holt and Gothic Cottage are situated in the grounds of Newlands manor which is a Grade 11 listed 200 year old Mansion, built in the Strawberry Hill Gothic Style. Part of the building is much older, having survived a fire on Christmas Day in 1802. The Manor is at the end of an half mile drive from the main road and the village of Milford on Sea is one mile away. Badgers Holt is a single storey, one bedroomed, converted boathouse in secluded gardens surrounded by woodland in a peaceful location. Gothic Cottage has two bedrooms; the main one with a double bed looks on to the garden and the other has bunk beds which are 3 foot wide and 6 foot long and are suitable for children and adults 5 miles from Lymington. Badgers Holt is the sunny Upper Floor Apartment of the Old Boathouse. It has its own external wooden staircase and entrance from a balcony. All the windows face the garden and woodland and the three dormers have window seats and exposed rafters. Badgers Holt has full gas central heating with thermostatic control, double glazing a log fire with an initial supply of coal and logs and an electric fan heater. There is double-glazing throughout. The fully fitted modern kitchen has top quality appliances, a breakfast bar and a separate dining area overlooking the garden. The sitting room has an open fire and a larger dormer window overlooking the garden. The bedroom has a double bed (with an electric blanket) and a dormer window looking out over the garden. The en suite bathroom has a bath with a hand shower and there is a separate shower cubicle with a thermostatic shower. The water in Badgers Holt is softened, except the cold tap in the kitchen of course. For More InformationVisit Property's WebsiteSpecial Features
