Westview Holiday Flat is ideal for a quiet, restful and comfortable base while sightseeing, walking or birdwatching in the area or for warm, cosy short breaks in the winter. The self-contained flat is newly converted and is on the first floor of the detached house in a quiet road 50 yards from the foreshore and a sailing club. The harbour views can be seen from most of the windows in the flat. Accommodation: The small hallway is the beginning of the stairs that lead to a large sunny sitting room which faces south and west. Double doors open into the dining room that has a fitted kitchen at one end and door to a balcony. The bathroom is situated between the two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the second has twin beds and a small single. The beds have pillows and blankets and the bed linen can be hired. Gas for hot water and central heating and electricity for cooker, microwave, toaster, fridge, kettle, TV and iron are included in the rent. Drying up cloths are provided. There is parking for 1 or 2 cars available just off the road outside the house. There is a small morning Nursery School on the ground floor in school term time. Emsworth is an attractive village on the shores of Chichester Harbour, that is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. In the summer the harbour is busy with sailing boats and fishing craft and there are many coastal and country walks. The village centre, which is just over five minutes walk along the harbour wall, has many varied shops, restaurants and pubs. The interesting history of Emsworth is exhibited in the nearby local museum. The Chichester Festival Theatre, Fishbourne's Roman palace, Goodwood's horse and motor racing, and Portsmouth''s maritime history are all within easy reach.
