The Boathouse is situated at the end of a quiet road within a short walk of the popular town of Rye. This apartment is ideal for two and incorporates an open plan living and dining area with integrated modern kitchen. It has a double bedroom, bathroom and private parking. A particular feature of this holiday home is the unique position, which overlooks a tidal channel that is used by local river traffic travelling between Rye Quay and the open sea. At high tide the boats can be seen travelling past the apartment. There is a south facing private pebbled beach frontage for residents of the apartments with lovely views over the salt mashes and the surrounding countryside. This is a great location for exploring Rye and the surrounding areas. The ancient and beautiful town of Rye has several picturesque narrow cobbled streets, its own harbour and many interesting and individual antique and craft shops. There is a varied selection of restaurants, inns and coffee houses for all tastes. For general groceries, there is a supermarket and a greengrocer, plus several specialist food shops within the town. For bird lovers visit the Rye nature reserve and Romney Sands. The traditional seaside resorts of Winchelsea, Camber Sands and Hastings are all a short journey away by car or public transport. Rye train station has a journey time to London of approximately 1.5 hours. Europe, Folkestone and Dover are within a 30-minute drive.
