Cosy Cottage was originally two separate dwellings. Two rooms upstairs and 2 rooms down stairs.

These were mining cottages for the local Iron Ore mines in the area. At the top of the garden is the original arch which the iron ore trucks would go under as they were pushed along the tracks to a tipping area or grinding mill.

Is a detached cottage for up to five people with a large grassed area and ample parking space. The cottage is only 20 minutes drive to Coniston, and 40 minutes to Windermere, making it an ideal base for holidays in the Lake District, away from the crowds.

The interior is well furnished with a modern kitchen which has a washer drier, fridge, oven and hob all run by electricity. The living room suite is comprised of a three seated settee and two chairs. There is also a television, dining room table and chairs. There are three bedrooms in the cottage, a double, a twin and a single. A conservatory at the front of the property has the benefit of the sunshine all day.

Cosy Cottage is a good base for many local attractions.

Homely comforts await you. The entire cottage is run on electricity, Towels and bed linen are provided. Every thing is there to make your stay as relaxing as possable
