Set in some of the most beautiful countryside that the region has to offer, Wooler is the ideal base for walking, exploring the magnificent Northumberland coast, or discovering the delightful towns and villages of the area.

The Old Mill is a detached three-storey house located on the edge of Wooler. Carefully converted, this property has plenty of charm and character and offers spacious, well equipped accommodation. Sleeping 8 people in comfort, it is an ideal place for two families or one larger family to enjoy a relaxing, carefree holiday.

Wooler is centrally placed for outings to the outstanding beaches and wildlife sanctuaries of the Northumbrian Coast. Holy Island, Alnwick and Berwick are all within 20-25 minutes drive. There are many ideas for fabulous days out within a very short distance. The beautiful villages of Ford and Etal with castles, steam railway and tea rooms are there to be explored; Chillingham Castle and the world famous wild white cattle are nearby and the new Alnwick Gardens on the Duke of Northumberland's estate complete with Tree House and water features are a must for young and old alike. There are shops, banks, pubs and restaurants in Wooler and are less than five minutes walk away.

Accommodation: Four comfortable bedrooms: 1 x king size double, 1 x double, both with en-suite bathrooms (bath, shower over, basin & WC), 2 x twin with shared en-suite bathroom (bath, shower over, basin & WC). Ground floor WC with washbasin. Large open plan kitchen with dining and sitting areas. Dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer in kitchen, TV and video, CD player etc in sitting area. Separate utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. Light and airy conservatory offering a separate sitting and dining area. Door to garden, with seating and gas barbeque available in summer months.
