There are abundant opportunities for country walks, bird watching and stargazing. Close by there are outcrops of fell sandstone decorated with rock carvings thought to be made 5,000 years ago. The local area is rich in wild life, archaeology with spectacular historic and geographic landmarks. We are ideally positioned to explore the Scottish Borders, the beautiful Northumbrian Coastline, the unspoilt attractions of Holy Island and Bamburgh and the market towns of Alnwick and Berwick, all only 30 minutes away. The cottage has two large family rooms and a double en-suite. It has the comfort you would expect from this standard of accommodation.
