Boats are available for hire during summer months and provide a unique means of enjoying the magnificent riverside scenery, there are also pleasant riverside walks. A sandy beach is within half a mile and stretches 3 miles northwards towards Alnmouth. The port of Amble, is within 2 miles, has a small fishing fleet and also an excellent marina with launching facilities. Boat trips are available for sea fishing and to view the seabirds on Coquet Island. Fresh water fishing, golf and horse riding also available locally. Warkworth has several pubs, restaurants, coffee houses are all within minutes walk. Ground floor, well equipped dining kitchen with quarry tiled floor. Pleasant lounge with wood burning stove.
