The Davidson family has farmed Alndyke Farm for three generations. Cereals and sheep are produced on its 400 acres. The land runs to the river Aln with a disused railway line which gives pleasant walks and uninterrupted views. The farm is one mile from the historic market town of Alnwick, Alnwick garden and three miles to the coast. The Farne Islands are a bird watchers delight. There are many historic castles that are within easy reach. The house is Georgian - once a hall- it is now a spacious farmhouse with stone fireplaces, wood burning stoves and antiques. The sitting room has comfortable sofas and a colour television. Awide staircase leads to the bedrooms and a luxury bathroom. There are two double ensuite bedrooms and one twin en-suite. Soap/towels are provided s well as electric convector heaters if needed. At Alndyke Farm we aim to give you a comfortable stay, good views and a good breakfast.
