Pets are welcome in Low Barn Cottage

Decor: Except for the vinyl flooring in the kitchen area, the cottage is carpeted throughout, there is mahogany stained woodwork, white walls & ceiling, floral curtaining coordinates with bed linen etc. The kitchen area is part wall tiled with patterned tiling as is the bathroom. There are pictures in all the rooms mostly original works and often for sale.

Facilities for disabled The cottage has an accessibility rating of 2 (English Tourist Board, 2002 regulations) which means it is suitable for a person in a wheelchair who has assistance. We can supply a limited range of aids for disabled persons such as a bath board or commode; with notice and the assistance of our local Red Cross we can commandeer a wider range.

An entrance lobby provides access to Bedroom 1, Bathroom and Dining Room/Kitchen

Dining Room/Kitchen - about 3.6m x 4.6m.Round dining table and 5 chairs. The kitchen has appropriate storage in cupboards and on shelves. It has a 4 hob electric cooker with extractor fan, dish washer and fridge freezer.

Bedroom 1 - about 3.6 m x 2.7m with a double bed and a dressing table/wardrobe unit.

Bathroom - about 2.3 m x 1.9m WC, wash basin and bath with over bath shower. A bath board and bath seat are available to assist people with mobility problems.

Living Room - about 3.5m x 4.5m. It is entered by a ramp (1:12) from the dining room/kitchen. There are two fully upholstered matching sofas and an additional easy chair with a high seat. Heating is by a radiant gas fire which supplements electric storage heating. There are occasional tables, a bookshelf and books. There is central lighting together with table and standing lamps,

Bedroom 2 - about 3.5m x 4.5m. Level floor from the living room to this room. Twin beds. Built in cupboard, dressing table. This bedroom has room for an additional bed.

Heating: All rooms have electric storage heaters. There is a radiant balanced flue gas fire in the living room.

Electrical equipment. Colour TV, VCR, dishwasher, radio/CD player, vacuum cleaner, iron, microwave cooker, refrigerator, electric blankets.

Parking The cottage is about 40m from the ample car park and there is space immediately outside the cottage for loading and unloading

Patio There is a stone flagged patio area with a bench seat, two chairs and a small table. There is space for the portable barbecue.
