The cottage is adjacent to the Engine House, our home, and has use of 5 acres of private land including pond, stream, garden and orchard. We are very secluded and in a quiet location with the nearest home about 0.5 mile away. The Engine House originally housed engines to power the fountains of Witley Court, the stately home of the Earls of Dudley. This is now an English Heritage site and includes the restored fountains and delightful parkland and walks. Of outstanding beauty is the church adjacent to the court, which is the finest baroque church in England, with wonderful Italian ceiling paintings and stained glass. All this is a short walk from the cottage. The accommodation consists of one double and one twin bedroom, shower bathroom, large sitting room, fully fitted kitchen and utility room. Television (Sky), dishwasher and washing machine are provided. There is ample private parking. High Season Low Season Open All Year, Open at Christmas, Open at New Year Cottage |
