Toft Hall, at the western side of the Peak District National Park.Once the home of the High Sheriff of the county, 17th Century Toft Hall is magnificently positioned, with stunning views for miles around. At the edge of the Peak District, it is approached down a long drive, away from any roads, with footpaths leading directly from the site. Yet it is an excellent location for exploring so many wonderful places such as the lovely towns of Buxton, Ashbourne or Bakewell. For outdoor enthusiasts it is possible to climb the nearby Roaches, ride at Flash (England's highest village), fish or canoe locally, hire bikes, or visit the renowned gardens at Biddulph Grange, Tatton Park, or Arley Hall. Alternatively, simply walk for miles and miles across the Peak District National Park. If you fancy a days shopping, why not visit some of the world famous potteries in Stoke or the many antique shops in Leek? For wildlife enthusiasts, the Peak District countryside is a fabulous setting for a variety of wildlife including regular sightings of hares and deer on our own land. For the more intrepid, a day out at Alton Towers offers thrills for all the family.Alternatively, if you wish to just completely unwind, you can pre-order hampers full of local produce or we can provide catering or maid services so you can sink into pure relaxation.
