The cottage is compact and has been designed for couples or single people to be able to afford a quaint cottage accommodation in a beautiful walking area. We appreciate how difficult it is for individuals to find affordable accommodation for just one or two.

The entrance is directly in to the living and kitchen area, this is small but gives an adequate area for relaxing and limited cooking. Within the lounge is a double settee, small dining table and chairs and TV. The kitchen has a sink, fridge, microwave, toaster and 2 ring cooker.

The shower room is located off the living area and is beautifully tiled and fitted with a shower, wash basin and WC.
Stairs lead from the living area into a double bedroom with sloping ceilings at either side.

1. Yelt Cottage is a converted office and gable over the adjacent garage (used for storage but not parking).
2. The gable comprises the main bedroom area and is an open gallery (mini) style leading with an antique pine staircase to the main living area. The bedroom is carpeted. There is little headroom as the bedroom is in the eaves of the roof. There are two skylight type windows of approximately 30" x 20" with blinds.
3. The cottage was converted last year. It is in pristine condition. The living area comprises a double futon sofa, which provides a double bed, suitable for 2 children (or even 2 adults at a squeeze). There is under floor heating in ceramic tiles in warm terracotta colours.
4. The garage doors are farm gable style doors. There is also stable doors forming part of the cottage, the top part of which provides the window to kitchen area. The kitchen area comprises wash basin and sink. Under the staircase is located a new fridge and new microwave oven.
5. There is a shower and W.C.
6. The interior of cottage is in antique stripped pine, access made through attractive double-door French windows with Art Nouveau (Liberty) curtains.
7. There is a country cottage Oak stripped table, 2 chairs church pew style bench. Antique furniture from Bali and a 14" flat screen TV. The walls are painted a warm ochre colour.
8. The cottage is located at the centre of the small and charming hamlet of Wootton, a quiet refuge and center for rambling holidays with access to Alton Towers, Ashbourne etc.
9. There is an Art Gallery and sculptures on the village green operated by Simon Manby who paints and sculpts and whose art is available for purchase.
10. Access to the top of Weaver Hills is immediate, commanding, if not the best views, over several counties including Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Shropshire.
11. Near Dovedale with great walks and great restaurants, e.g. Sir Isaak Walton and other country hotels and retreats Close proximity to the River Dove, famous for fishing and walks.
12. Outside the cottage is a Tarmac hard Standing suitable for cars or 4x4 or even small caravans or caravenette.
13. Papers, milk and supplies can be purchased in the village of Ellastone 1-1/2 miles away.
14. Wootton has its own cricket club with licensed bar, games played at weekends throughout the summer and visitors are welcome.
15. There is a no smoking policy and no dogs.
