8 miles from Bridgnorth. The cottage is set within a secluded walled garden, enjoying excellent privacy yet within a few hundred yards of the centre of this small medieval town. Pubs, churches, the Priory, Information centre and shops are all less than 5 minutes walk.
The World Heritage Site of Ironbridge with its 10 musuems is 4 miles away, The Severn Valley Railway 8 miles, and Church Stretton, with its magnificent hills, and Shrewsbury, one of the finest Tudor towns in England, are both 12 miles distant.
Cosford Aerospace musuem (free!) is within easy reach and there are numerous farm attractions, country walks and other activities for children (the cottage has a cot and high chair). No less than 8 National Trust properties are within 15 miles and the area abounds with beautiful gardens open to the public.
The cottage is regularly inspected by the English Tourist Board and has had a 3*** rating for over 20 years; it is personally managed by the owner. Many of our visitors return and some have been a dozen times or more.
