Shepherds Rest sleeps 3/4 ETC 4 Stars (no smoking establishment). Shepherds Rest which adjoins the farmhouse offers you a cosy retreat in the fabulous countryside of Herefordshire the forgotten county.

The Cottage dates back about 300 years and has the original bread oven, in which bread would have been baked for the farming family.

The cottage has been extensively and sympathetically renovated to an extremely high standard to include a wealth of exposed original oak beams and timbers.

The cottage is entered through an oak stable door perfect for those balmy summer evenings, this leads into the open plan living area with under floor heating over which are character oak boards. Through the double glazed oak leaded windows Ledbury and The Malvern Hills can be seen. There is a wood burning stove for those cosy winter evenings before the crackling fire.

Moving into the fully fitted oak kitchen you will find all those appliances you would find at home an oven and hob, a microwave, a washer dryer, a dishwasher, and a fridge and freezer along with all those other necessary kitchen items.

On the ground floor there is the first of the two bedrooms. This room again has under floor heating. In here there is a single bed and a high cabin bed (length 5ft 9) suitable for a child of 5 years up to a teenager.

As you climb the oak staircase you will see the kingsize 4 poster bed which is built into the structure of the cottage. This room has far reaching views to Ledbury and the Malvern Hills beyond. The room has been fitted with bespoke oak furniture with locally made blacksmith handles.

The bathroom has a wealth of beams and timbers with a WC, basin and bath with shower over. There is also a heated towel rail.

Outside the cottage is a sitting area with panoramic views over peaceful and tranquil countryside.
