Anvil Cottage, formerly a wainhouse and stable, has been sympathetically converted into a beautiful two bedroomed holiday cottage leaving a wealth of exposed beams and brickwork. The cottage lies within the farmhouse walled garden, quite separate, but surrounded by lawns and flowerbeds, over looking our farmland, Dinedor hill and Aconbury woods, iron age forts.

The entrance is through a large quarry tiled enclosed patio into a very light and airy loungewith comfortable seating and a colour T.V.

The kitchen/dining area is furnished with maple wood units with all modern appliances, including wash/dryer, dishwasher, fridge and split cooker/hob and microwave, hopefully every convenience for a successful holiday. Whilst guests are welcome to take breakfast in the farmhouse any morning.

The double-bedded room is spacious, with an en-suite shower and bath. The twin bedded room has its own colour T.V. and separate large shower room; both showers are power showers with excellent water pressure. The bedrooms are furnished with antique pine dressing tables, chest of drawers and wardrobes.

The cottage is tastefully decorated throughout using lovely floral fabrics, antique furniture and quality fitted carpets.
We have converted the cottage to suit less able and wheel-chair guests - wide doorways, turning spaces and extra large shower units. Linen, towels and electric are included in the price.
Anvil cottage is situated two miles south of Hereford City, 300 yards from the main A49 Hereford/Ross-on-Wye road, and 350 yards from an excellent, regular bus service. The Grafton Inn is just a short stroll down the drive, serving good food akk week. Supermarkets are in Hereford and also a large Tesco's, out of town, along the A465 road.

www.nationaltrust.org.uk - People of all ages are members of the National Trust, who own many beauty spots and fine houses. The Weir, a tranquil waterside woodland west of Hereford is National Trust-owned.

GRAFTON VILLA drive leads off the A49 HEREFORD/ROSS-ON-WYE Road, two miles south of HEREFORD City, when leaving the city you travel along some flat open farmland, the first building on the right is the Grafton Inn, 120 yards past is the farm drive, also on the right. Ref. 214098. We are approximately 1/4 miles away from the Mercedes and Rover garages travelling from Ross or Monmouth direction.
