Heathy Lea Barn, attached to Heathy Lea House, is situated just inside the northern edge of Chatsworth Park which covers an area of 450 hectares, just over 1100 acres, and owes much of its appearance to Capability Brown who landscaped the park in the 1760s for the 4th Duke of Devonshire.

The living accommodation comprises one double bedroom and one twin bedroom; a shower room; separate lavatory; a well equipped modern kitchen and an open plan living area, to provide for up to four guests.

The barn has been furnished and decorated to an excellent standard combining elements of traditional comfort with contemporary design on a single storey, accessed by an external flight of stone steps. Externally, the barn has access to a garden area with barbeque/garden furniture and views over the park.

As with all of our holiday cottages, electricity, central heating and all bed linen (except cot linen) with duvets and towels are included within the stated price.

Free entrance tickets for a visit to Chatsworth House and Garden when open are provided to weekly bookings. Well behaved dogs are welcome.

The property is accessible directly off the A619 which links to the east with Chesterfield and the M1 (12 miles); to the north with Sheffield (13 miles) and to the west with Manchester and the M6 (40 miles).
