Westwinds enjoys an excellent position in this rural Norfolk village, overlooking a delightful Norfolk flint church to the front and with open fields to the rear. If your idea of a good holiday is to get away from it all then Westwinds is for you.

While we are off the main tourist trail, we are well placed for a whole host of holiday activities. Walking, bird-watching and cycling on quiet country lanes are all available close to the cottage, and the unspoilt North Norfolk coast is only a short drive away. Wells-next-the sea with its popular quayside village is just 10 miles away and a short hop along the coast will bring you to Holkham beach with its miles of sand, fringed by pine trees. Also nearby are the salt marshes and creeks of Stiffkey, Morston, Blakeney and Cley, a paradise for walkers, birdwatchers and sailors.

If you enjoy touring and wish to explore a little further afield, then Westwinds provides an excellent base. The Norfolk Broads, Norwich, Sandringham, steam railways, stately homes, gardens and museums are all no more than an hours drive away. Closer to home are the Thursford steam collection, the Walsingham shrine and Pensthorpe park.

Westwinds is a modern cottage style property providing comfortable accommodation for 5 people. It is fully equipped for self-catering and, with recently installed additional heating, is suitable for all year round use.

The three upstairs bedrooms comprise 1 double, 1 twin and 1 single. There is a downstairs cloakroom plus upstairs bathroom. In the kitchen, a microwave, cooker, fridge- freezer and washing machine are available for guests’ use. Local maps, books of walks and tourist information are provided to enable you to make the most of your stay.

To the front and rear are attractive gardens. The rear garden is self-enclosed, and there is a patio area with garden furniture and BBQ.

Well-behaved pets accepted for an additional fee of £10 per pet. We regret that smoking is not permitted inside the property. Included in the hire fee is bedding (sheets and duvets), hand towels and electricity. Please bring your own bath towels.
