The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with a gas/electric cooker, microwave, washing machine and fridge freezer. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and wardrobe, bedroom 2 has twin beds and a wardrobe. The bathroom has a bath and shower over and there is a separate WC with basin. The rear garden is totally enclosed there is garden furniture in the shed. Off road parking space will accommodate 2 cars on the front driveway. Bed linen is supplied but not towels. Electricity and heating (gas) is included in the price. The owner requests that guests do not smoke inside house. Sorry - we regret no pets accepted. Bookings are Sat to Sat.

About the Area

Holt is one of the most attractive small towns in North Norfolk with a main street lined by Georgian buildings, which were largely built after the fire of 1708. It has a busy market on Thursdays and regular flea markets in the summer.

The North Norfolk Railway has a terminus on the outskirts of the town and connects Holt with the seaside resort of Sheringham. Holt is probably best known as the home of the now co-educational, Gresham's public school, founded in 1555 by Sir John Gresham, uncle to Sir Thomas Gresham.

A few miles down the road is the small fishing village of Blakeney with its picturesque quay and nearby salt marshes. There are several ferry services out to Blakeney Point to see the seals and most of these services run trips 7 days a week, weather and tides permitting.
