Milkmaid’s Cottage at Riding House Farm is set in the heart of the Peak District National Park! With charm, character, stunning location & views. The cottages were brand new for July 2005. They have been created from an ancient stone barn into two lovely self-contained cottages offering the highest standard of accommodation and comfort yet retaining many original features. One of the cottages has been awarded the prestigious tourist board 5-star grading. Riding House Farm is a traditional Derbyshire hill farm rearing beef and sheep. It nestles under the Losehill Ridge with wonderful south facing views across the Hope Valley. It is a walkers’ paradise with direct access to the footpath network. Milkmaid’s Cottage is a lovely spacious one-bedroom cottage with a 6’ bed and two bathrooms. Also upstairs is a small room adjacent to the bedroom which would be suitable for a child’s cot. Milkmaid’s Cottage has been awarded the English Tourism Council’s 5-star grading - the highest quality standard for self-catering. Out of consideration for other guests, this is a no smoking cottage. The sitting room is spacious for just two people and has a lovely corner fireplace made of old oak timbers reclaimed from the original barn. The fire is a very effective ‘living-flame’ electric stove. Everything is brand new - the furnishings and equipment are to the highest standard with careful attention to detail to make your stay memorable. Milkmaid’s Cottage has full central heating and double glazing, two bathrooms: one upstairs with a bath, basin and WC, and a downstairs shower room with basin and WC. With TV, CD, DVD in the cosy sitting room and oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer in the kitchen areas, everything is provided for you. There is also an adjacent laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer for your free use. For More InformationVisit Property's WebsiteSpecial Features
