About Callow Top Holiday Park

Callow Top is a popular family holiday park situated just north of the picturesque market town of Ashbourne, nestling within a delightful elevated country setting with breathtaking panoramic views overlooking the Dove Valley. The famous Tissington Trail and High Peak Trails, Dovedale and the Manifold Valley are all within walking distance from Callow Top. Its location is an ideal base to exlore the beauty of the Peak National Park, just the place for that annual holiday or just a weekend away from all the hustle and bustle.

We have two beautiful centrally heated, oak beamed cottages with colour TV, video, fully fitted oak dining kitchens and bathrooms. Both are tastefully decorated. Linen is included; cots and high chairs can be provided on request. Towels are available for hire. Car parking is at the rear of cottages.

Prices from £228 - £425 per week. Short breaks are available during low season from £189.

Visitors staying in our holiday cottages can enjoy full use of the holiday park facilities including heated swimming & paddling pools (May - September), play area, pool & table tennis tables, amusement arcade, pub with restaurant & regular entertainment during peak season.

We also have on-site coarse fishing and cycle hire (charges apply). Only 20 minutes drive away from Alton Towers.

Open All Year although holiday park facilities are closed between November and Easter.

Park Amenities

The focal point of the Holiday Park is the old farmhouse, which has been extended and converted into an Olde English Inne serving real ale brewed in our own "Haywood Brewery", and a selection of good pub food. The Inn is the meeting point to relax in the evenings with other holidaymakers. The Inn also has an integral room to accommodate families with younger children. We now have an established course fishery and a bird hide, for Callow Top clients only, situated in the "David Bellamy" award winning nature reserve at Haywood Farm.
